Kids and parents participating in Bensalem’s second annual “Family Affair Under the Stars” enjoyed fun tennis activity on Sept 27 courtesy of the Bucks County Tennis Association, Inc.(BCTA). The tennis was part of Nickelodeon’s Worldwide Day of Play network and kids who rallied 12 or more times over the net received a cap highlighting their achievement. BCTA and Bensalem Parks and Recreation offer youth and adult tennis programs at multiple Bensalem public parks and at facilities throughout Bucks County. The Worldwide Day of Play event was held under the lights on the Community Park hockey rink, which is a muti-use space that includes 5 blended line 36-foot youth tennis courts.
