BHS Robotics Wins Division At Nationals (ICYMI)
The Fightin' Robotic Owls' performance was akin to a college basketball team making the NCAA Tournament's Final Four, their coach said.

BENSALEM, PA — Bensalem High's Fightin' Robotic Owls have racked up another impressive performance.
The team won its division over the weekend at the FIRST Robotics World Championship in Detroit.
After struggling with mechanical problems in early qualifying matches, the squad rebounded to make the playoffs and win the division. Then, they squared off with five other division winners, racking up a 2-1-2 record in the championship round and earning the distinction of being World Championship Semi-Finalists.
"It was amazing to drive the robot for the past three seasons, especially in a season as good as this," said senior and drive team member Eric Rosenberg. "I'm happy that the last time I've driven for 5401 ended up being in the finals at World."

"It was amazing to attend World Championships and see all the effort everyone put in over the
season pay off, said freshman, Adriana Presiado. "Going to Detroit and seeing all the other
teams there from around the world was an experience I will never forget."
Although their competition season is over, the Fightin' Robotic Owls will be hard at work
planning for their free summer camp, which provides students in grades 7-9 with hands on
experience designing, building and programming robots, as well as experience with CADD and
manufacturing.
