Bike-Riding Serial Burglary Suspect Wanted In Bensalem: Police
Police say they've been investigating thefts at various storage lockers since February. They identified a suspect from his facial injuries.

BENSALEM, NJ — Bensalem Police think they have identified the bicycle-riding suspect in a string of storage facility thefts, based on facial injuries he got in a car crash.
Officers are asking for the public's help finding Alec Apostolou, who faces six counts each of burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and receiving stolen property. He also faces a criminal mischief charge, police said.
Police said they've been investigating thefts around the township from various storage facilities since February. In these thefts, a suspect cut the locks off and got into the storage lockers to steal things, police said.

"Surveillance video captured the subject before, during and after several of these burglaries," police said. "The subject was seen riding a bike to and from these businesses."
Police say they identified the man as Apostolou, and have issued a warrant for his arrest.

An officer looking at surveillance footage from the break-ins on June 3 connected the suspect's facial injuries with injuries Apostolou got in a car crash the day before.
Officers confirmed Apostolou's identity at a local convenience store, a news release said.
