Bensalem Police seek the public's help in finding the vehicle and driver in the crash Thursday night near the Route 1 overpass.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Bensalem Township Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that killed a 14-year-old boy late Thursday night and seeking the public's assistance in finding one of the vehicles involved.
Bensalem Police said a 14-year-old boy was struck and killed in the westbound lanes of Street Road just prior to the Route 1 overpass just after 10 p.m. Thursday.
Police said two juvenile males were crossing the roadway mid-block when a dark gray, 4-door sedan (believed to be a Honda) swerved out of the left lane to miss the first juvenile.

The sedan possibly struck the second juvenile who was standing in the middle lane. He was lying in the roadway when he was struck again by a silver Hyundai Tucson, police said.
Police said neither vehicle caused the crash. Both vehicles immediately stopped, but the driver of the dark gray 4-door sedan got back in his vehicle and left the scene prior to police arrival.

The sedan continued westbound on Street Road and entered Lower Southampton Township, police said.

The dark gray sedan may have damage to the lower portion of the front end of the vehicle.
