Bucks Co.'s New Coronavirus Cases Remain Low
Just 26 new cases of the virus were reported in Bucks County on Tuesday and nine of those were cases that were weeks old.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Bucks County's count of new coronavirus cases continued a downward trend Tuesday, with 26 more positive tests reported. Of those, nine were old cases and only 17 were people who are still sick.
The Bucks County Department of Health said nine of Tuesday's newly reported cases were actually old ones in which Bucks County residents were tested in other counties. They're so old that the people involved are no longer sick, officials said.

Two new coronavirus-related deaths were reported Tuesday — a 95-year-old woman who died two weeks ago and a 67-year-old woman who died Tuesday. Both lived in long-term care facilities and had underlying health conditions, officials said.
In all, 477 Bucks County residents have died after testing positive for the coronavirus. A total of 5,030 have tested positive for the virus in Bucks and 2,070 of those have been confirmed to have recovered.

Of the 26 new cases reported Tuesday, nine were spread through household contacts, eight were residents of long-term care facilities, four were from pure community spread and two were work contacts. Three people were not able to be interviewed immediately, officials said.
On Tuesday, 85 Bucks County residents remained hospitalized with the virus, with 17 of them in critical condition and on ventilators.
