Bucks Man Accused Of Sexually Extorting 9 Girls Faces Federal Charges
A Bensalem man's case was moved from Bucks County authorities to the feds because the crimes happened in several states, authorities said.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A township man accused of sexually extorting nine girls between the ages of 12-to-15 across multiple states will now be charged federally, authorities said.
The Bucks County District Attorney's Office withdrew charges this week against Jonathan Brodecki, 21, of Bensalem Township, authorities said.
"It is a federal case now," said Manuel Gamiz Jr., the Bucks DA's director of communications.

A federal grand jury indicted him on similar charges of sexual extortion of minors earlier this month and arrested him on Tuesday, authorities said.
In January, Bensalem Police received information regarding a Snapchat account that was sexually extorting a 15-year-old girl.

Through investigation, it was determined that the creator and user of the account in question, “jack_goodric,” was a 21-year-old Bensalem resident Jonathan Brodecki, police said.
Brodecki had been utilizing this Snapchat account to impersonate a middle-school or early high-school-aged boy, authorities said.
He then was able to convince the 15-year-old girl to send him sexually explicit photos and videos, as she believed he was her age, police said.
When the 15-year-old victim attempted to break off contact with Brodecki, he threatened to post the explicit images of her publicly, police said.
Upon further investigating this “jack_goodric” Snapchat account, Bensalem detectives identified eight other victims. These victims were all female, from ages 12 to 15.
In all instances, Brodecki would “add” these girls on Snapchat and represent himself as a teenager, sometimes 13, 14, or 15, police said.
He would then request that the girls produce and send him sexually explicit images, which many of the victims did.
Brodecki also sent sexually explicit images to multiple victims, police said.
At least one other victim, a 13-year-old girl, was sexually extorted by Brodecki, who threatened to find her and rape her, as well as publicly post explicit images of her.
A search warrant was executed at Brodecki’s home in March.
Brodecki was charged with Sexual Abuse of Children, Sexual Extortion and Distribution of Images, Sexual Abuse of Children/Possession of Child Pornography, Unlawful Contact with a Minor, Obscene and Other Sexual Materials and Performance/Dissemination to Minors, the corruption of minors, Terroristic Threats, Stalking, and the Criminal Use of a Communication Facility.
