Kintnersville Man Arrested In Bensalem For Attempted Rape Of A Child

Man who traveled to the township for a sexual encounter with a 12-year-old was arrested when he arrived, police said.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — A 35-year-old man from Kintnersville, who traveled over an hour to Bensalem to have a sexual encounter with a 12-year-old, has been charged with attempted rape and indecent assault of a child under the age of 13, corruption of minors, and numerous other related offenses.

Bensalem Police said Eliseo Caraballo, 35, began conversing with an alleged 12-year-old female
on a social media app. The two continued to message one another over the course of several days, police said.

During those chats, police said Caraballo asked the juvenile numerous sexually-charged questions and began indicating that he wanted to engage in sexual acts with her. On numerous occasions, Caraballo also asked the juvenile for nude photographs of herself and also sent her an explicit photograph of his genitals, police said.

On July 27, police said Caraballo arranged to meet the 12-year-old female for a sexual encounter and traveled from his home in Kintnersville to Bensalem where police were waiting at the location of the meet and took Caraballo into custody. Caraballo was found to have condoms and candy
in his possession, police said.

Caraballo was arraigned by District Justice Daniel Baranoski, denied bail, and sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

He has been charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child; unlawful contact or communication with a minor; photograph/film sex act child; unlawful contact with a minor; sexual abuse possession of child pornography; obscene and other sexual materials; corruption of a minor; corruption of a minor sexual offense; criminal use of a communication facility; indecent assault of a child under the age of 13; and criminal attempt.
