Business and Community Leaders Pucker Up for Financial Literacy
Fifth Annual TruMark Financial® Credit Union Kiss-A-Pig Financial Literacy Fundraiser to provide personal finance resources for area school

A pot-bellied pig will receive twenty-seven kisses in an effort to raise awareness and funds to support financial literacy programs in Philadelphia area schools. The kisses will come from business and community leaders at TruMark Financial’s Fifth Annual Kiss-A-Pig Financial Literacy Fundraiser, on Wednesday, September 30, at the Piazza at Schmidt’s, 1015 N. 2nd Street in Philadelphia, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
The participants are helping to raise funds for schools in need of resources to teach students the basics of personal finance. The Kiss-a-Pig Financial Literacy Fundraiser will allow area schools to provide students with the tools needed to make informed choices about how to save, spend, borrow, and invest money.
Bill Tafrow, on-air personality from 101.1 More FM, will be the emcee for the event. Special guest Quincy Harris of Fox 29 Good Day also will attend to say a few words about the importance of educating today’s youth about financial literacy. Admission is free and all are invited to watch the participants pucker up for this worthwhile cause.
