Car Crash Injures 1 At Route 1 Intersection

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — One person was injured following a two-car crash at a key Route 1 intersection, fire officials said.

The Bensalem Volunteer Fire Department Ladder 65 responded to the two-car crash Tuesday night at the intersection of Old Lincoln Highway and Route 1.

Fire officials said one person was injured and transported by EMS. A second person was transported by the police department. Fire officials did not say whether that person was injured or was facing charges.

The intersection was closed for a short time while the vehicles were removed before reopening.
