Celebrating spring with a tree planting for Bensalem's Arbor Day Event

Come kick off spring with Pa Horticultural Society by planting tree to celebrate Arbor Day at Bensalem School District building on April 24

Bensalem School District and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society are celebrating the wonders of trees this spring in support of the Plant One Million campaign by planting 50 trees in Bensalem School District Administration building and Valley Elementary School on April 24. Plant One Million aims to plant million trees in 3 states and 13 counties- Plant One Million website. The goal is to increase the tree canopy cover in the tri-state area to 30 percent.

Tree planting will be on Friday, April 24, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bensalem School District Office, 3000 Donallen Drive, Bensalem . All ages are welcome, registration is encouraged. Volunteers are encouraged to bring water and work gloves and to wear boots or sneakers.
