Chief 10's Smokehouse Opening In Bensalem Township

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A new barbecue eatery is opening in the township this week.

Chief 10's Smokehouse has secured space at 5821 Bensalem Blvd. and will hold a "soft opening" on Friday, the owners told Patch.

"It's the moment you've all been waiting for," the business said in a Facebook post.

Chief 10's Smokehouse will start with temporary hours from Noon to 8 p.m. (or sellout) Friday and Saturday, and Noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The business said those hours will be the same for the first two weekends. After that, it will open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays moving forward.

"We will not be taking orders over the phone, so please place your order when you stop in and everything will be packed to go as we are take-out only," the owners said. "We’re so excited to bring our love of BBQ to the Bensalem community."

The business was operating as a food truck before securing space.

Over the next few weeks, Chief 10's will offer the option to order ahead online as well as DoorDash delivery.

Chief 10's Smokehouse offers Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, St. Louis Ribs, and Kickin' Hickory Chicken. Sides include baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, corn on the cob, and mac & cheese. Soda and bottled water are also available.
