Cirque Italia Water Circus Begins At Neshaminy Mall

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —The circus has come to town —well, the Neshaminy Mall —through Sunday.

The White & Blue Big Top Tent can be spotted in the parking lot of the former Sears as the Neshaminy Mall presents "The Magical World Of Cirque! Cirque Italia —Gold Uni.

Shows take place at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday with five shows scheduled over the weekend, mall organizers said.

The schedule is as follows:

  • June 1 – Thursday: 7:30 p.m.
  • June 2 – Friday: 7:30 p.m.
  • June 3 – Saturday: 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m.
  • June 4 – Sunday: 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased now with prices starting at $10 and going to $50, depending on availability.

The box office hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for non-show days and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on show days.

Cirque Italia reflects a unique attribute under its tents, as the show features many custom-designed elements that travel from city to city.

Cirque Italia has designed for two traveling water shows —Silver Unit and Gold Unit —a stage that holds 35,000 gallons of water that performers dazzle over while thrilling the audience with every move.

Starting with its creation in 2012, the Water Circus has advanced into one of the most innovative traveling shows to be staged in the United States. In 2017, Cirque Italia launched a second Water Circus, according to its website.
