Citizens Bank celebrates new branch at Langhorne GIANT

March 4 grand opening festivities include balloon artist and face painting; donation to Middletown Community Foundation

LANGHORNE, Pa. – Citizens Bank will hold a grand opening on Saturday, March 4, to celebrate its new branch inside the Langhorne GIANT Food Store located at 168 N Flowers Mill Road, in Langhorne.

This new branch marks the continued expansion of the Citizens Bank and GIANT relationship, which offers customers convenient access to 56 bank branches or ATMs right where they shop. Furthermore, Citizens plans to open additional locations in Havertown and Brookhaven GIANT Food Stores later this year.

The celebration will occur from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and features activities for both children and adults. In addition to the ribbon cutting ceremony at noon, Citizens Bank customers and the general public are invited to attend the celebration. Activities will include an appearance by the Philadelphia Phillies Ballgirls, refreshments, $5 GIANT gift cards for customers using the ATM or learning about the Citizens mobile app, face painting, and a balloon artist.

The new supermarket branch is designed to provide customer convenience using a blend of personal service and user-friendly technology. The branch provides the convenience of full-service banking seven days a week, including private offices for our Citizens Checkup program, which allows customers the chance to sit with a banker and discuss their financial needs. This new branch will also feature an enhanced ATM so customers can deposit checks and cash without needing envelopes and deposit slips.

“Our partnership with Citizens Bank provides us another timesaving convenience for our customers,” said Mary St. Ledger Baggett, director of marketing and external communications GIANT/MARTIN’S. “Customers can shop for groceries and bank in one location. We look forward to expanding our relationship with Citizens Bank to benefit even more of our customers.”

The branch is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
