Deadline Approaching For Bensalem Mayor Scholarship Award
Bensalem Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo will award $2,000 scholarships to high school graduates going to college.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —There's still time to apply for this year's Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo Scholarship Award.
The Joseph DiGirolamo Scholarship Foundation was established to help promote continuing education by providing financial assistance towards college tuition payments for the township's high school graduates.
The selection process will be made by no less than two members of the foundation committee from applications received from Bensalem Township residents graduating from the 12th grade.

Students must enroll in at least a two-year, full-time day course in a school above the secondary level. Students must demonstrate qualities of leadership, good citizenship, and scholastic ability.
Five to seven students will be awarded $2,000 each at the discretion of the scholarship committee.

Scholarship payments will be made to the student by the committee after a copy of the college
bill is received, showing payment has been made.
