The 18th House District is based in Bensalem, starting at the Delaware River in the south and stretching north to just north of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
This year marked the first time DiGirolamo had any sort of real opposition. In 2012, 2014 and 2016, he ran for re-election with no opposition in either the Republican primary or the general election.
He was unopposed again in this year's GOP primary. Lamb also was unopposed in the Democratic primary, drawing 2,445 votes (compared to 2,860 for DiGirolamo).
