Digital Message Sign Installations On Interstate 95

PennDOT alerts motorists of lane closures on the highway starting Monday night and lasting throughout the week in Bensalem Township.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Digital message sign installations will be performed by PennDOT on Interstate 95 this week.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that digital message sign installations and other construction activities will be performed at night this week on Interstate 95.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

  • Monday, Oct. 9, through Friday, Oct. 13, from 9 p.m. to 5 p.m. the following morning, a left lane closure will be in place on southbound Route 95 just after the Route 132 (Street Road) Interchange in Bensalem Township for boring operations.
  • Monday, Oct. 9, through Friday, Oct. 13, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a left lane closure will be in place on southbound Route 95 between the Mill Road underpass and Tennis Avenue overpass in Bensalem Township for DMS installation.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
