2-Vehicle Crash On Street Road Traps Pick-Up Truck Driver

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —As fire crews headed toward an accident on Route 1 Thursday afternoon, they came across a two-vehicle crash on Street Road.

The Bensalem Township Fire Rescue Department was responding to a traffic accident with entrapment on Route 1 and Old Lincoln Highway when the Battalion Chief came across a two-vehicle traffic accident.

That crash was on Street Road at Tillman Drive, fire officials said.

A person was trapped in a pickup truck and two medical units were requested. Fire crews removed the door and freed the person. It was unknown if that person suffered any injuries.

Fire crews then continued to the Route 1 accident, but reported no entrapment and minor injuries there.
