UPDATE: Elderly Woman With Dementia Found Safe In Bensalem

Police seek the public's help in finding Therese Rubin, who was last seen at the Parx Casino Thursday morning.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Bensalem Township Police Department said that a 72-year-old woman with dementia who went missing has been found safe.

Bensalem Police said Friday that Therese Rubin was located Thursday and reunited with her family.

Police thanked the public for its help and tips in locating Rubin.

Police had received a report at noon Thursday that Therese Rubin, 72, had left Parx Casino and hasn't been seen since.

Police describe Rubin as 5'10", weighing 100 lbs, and last wearing a white sweatshirt, multi-colored pants, and carrying several bags.

She also has a distinctive curvature of the spine which gives her a pronounced slouching posture, police said.

Bensalem Detectives were able to track some of her movements after leaving the casino.

Police said Rubin boarded a SEPTA bus at the casino and then got off of the bus near Street Road and Hulmeville Road. She appeared to be accompanied by an elderly male.

They walked to the Bank of America and were last seen on Street Road in front of the Chase Bank/Burger King at 10:28 am. Thursday.
