Building Your Own Backyard Habitat" Join us Earth Day for our family fun celebration! Food, fun, and interactive activites at The Bucks County Zoo & Conservation Society. We will have special presentation by Bucks County Board Member Tina Dougherty Overman, reading from her book, "Why Do Birds Chirp?" and leading presentations thoughout the day on how to build your backyard habitat. Encouragement placed on Reuse and Recycle with a family gardening activity using empty water bottles. (Please bring in an empty water bottle for this activity). The zoo wil provide potting soil, seeds, and instruction. Inside the zoo, educators will introduce you to many exotic animals and why it is important to protect and preserve our natural resources.
