An expansion has been approved at Parx Casino, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board decided Wednesday, according to a report by the Philadelphia Inquirer.
The expansion will add 268 slot machines and nine table games, increasing revenue by as much as $20 million, the report said.
Some of the expansion will even be completed as early as next month, the report said, with the remainder of the project to be finished by the end of the year.

Parx Casino is owned and operated by Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. It currently features 165,000 square feet of gaming with more than 3,300 slot machines, 100 live table games and 80 poker tables, plus live racing.
