FBI Seeking Bensalem Bank Robbery Suspect

On Feb. 19, a man walked into a bank in Bensalem and produced a note demanding money and threatening to shoot employees.

BENSALEM, PA — The FBI and local police are looking for a man they say robbed banks in Bensalem and elsewhere.

Michael Edmondson, 50, is wanted for two bank robberies last month, the FBI's Philadelphia bureau said, and is under investigation for another.

The FBI says Edmondson robbed banks on Feb. 19 and 24.

On Feb. 19, Bensalem Police say a man walked into the Wells Fargo Bank on Horizon Boulevard at 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday. He presented a note demanding money and threatening to shoot employees, they say.

The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and he left the bank, running toward Rockhill Drive.

The FBI is asking anyone with information about Edmondson's whereabouts to call 215-418-4000.
