Fire Damages Bensalem Apartment Complex
The Nottingham Fire Department responded Monday night to a fire at the Knightsbridge Apartments complex.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A fire swept through the second floor of a two-story apartment building on Knights Road Monday night, fire officials said.
The Nottingham Fire Department responded to the Knightsbridge Apartments complex at 9:40 p.m. Monday.
As the first arriving apparatus, Ladder 65 reported smoke showing from the second floor of a two-story apartment building.

Crews encountered heavy fire on the second floor and reported possible entrapment. Chief 65 arrived immediately after the ladder and established Bensalem Command.
All companies were placed into service and all searches for residents trapped in the apartment complex were negative.

Fire crews were still on location Tuesday morning assisting Bensalem Township fire investigators.
While no injuries were reported several residents were being cared for by the American Red Cross, fire officials said.
