BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A house fire is under investigation after suffering significant damage Sunday night, fire officials said.

Bensalem Fire Rescue said that fire crews responded to the fire Sunday night on the 5700 block of Shetland Court and were able to contain the blaze before it spread to townhomes next door.

Fire officials said no injuries were reported but the home sustained significant damage and is uninhabitable.

Fire investigators with Bensalem Township Fire Rescue are investigating the cause of the fire, which originated in the garage of the home.

The Nottingham Fire Department's Ladder 65, along with several other companies, responded to the blaze.
