Fire Rips Through Home, Under Investigation In Bensalem
Fire crews battled a blaze that gutted a Lighthouse Lane home Wednesday afternoon. All of the occupants made it out safely.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A fire that ripped through a Lighthouse Lane home Wednesday afternoon is under investigation, fire officials said.
The Newport Fire Company and mutual aid companies were dispatched to the 5100 block of Lighthouse Lane for a house fire at 5:14 p.m. Wednesday.
Fire crews found heavy fire and smoke on the first and second floor, attic, and the rear of the two-story townhome.

The occupants made it out of the home safely and there were no injuries reported, fire officials said.
A Nottingham Fire Department firefighter was transported to a hospital with an elevated heart rate and blood pressure but was later released.

The fire is under investigation by the Bensalem Fire Marshal’s Office.
The Newport Fire Company said that fire crews were on the scene for four hours.
The Nottingham Fire Department and Penndel Volunteer Fire Company were among those assisting with the blaze.
