Fire Truck Struck Responding To Route 95 Crash: Fire Officials
The Cornwells Fire Company, Station 16, in Bensalem had its Tower 16 truck hit while working a 2-vehicle crash on Route 95 early Saturday.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Fire companies responded to a two-vehicle accident on southbound Route 95 early Saturday morning that led to another crash when a fire truck was struck.
The Cornwells Fire Company, Station 16, reported that Rescue and Tower 16 along with Rescue 82 responded to a crash with entrapment just after 1:30 a.m. Saturday south of Woodhaven Road. The crash involved a vehicle and a tractor-trailer.
Deputy 16 set up command and reported heavy entrapment with both vehicles, the fire company said in its Facebook post.

Rescue 8 was added since the tractor-trailer was on its side.
Rescue 16 worked quickly to extricate the occupants from the passenger vehicle while Tower 16, Rescue 82 and Rescue 8 worked on extricating the tractor-trailer driver.

While they worked, another vehicle struck the rear end of Tower 16.
"Luckily, the tower was blocking the shoulder along with multiple lanes of traffic and no personnel were injured," the fire company posted.
The Newportville Fire Company # 1, Station 12/82 - Bucks County, PA Penndel Volunteer Fire Company #1, Station 8, Bensalem EMS all responded to the Route 95 crash.
All occupants were treated by Bensalem EMS.
Both accidents are under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police.
