Bensalem Township Prepares For Family Fall Festival
Bensalem Township's annual family event takes place on Oct. 7 at the municipal complex.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —With a concert and fireworks, Bensalem Township will celebrate its community with its annual festival.
This year's Family Fall Festival will take place on Saturday, Oct. 7, and will feature a free concert starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Penn Community Bank Amphitheater.
The Bachelor Boys Band will perform hits from the 1960s, 1970s, and beyond.

The concert will be followed by fireworks around 8:15 p.m. with a “Magic of the Movies” theme, township officials said.
The Family Fall Festival will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Bensalem Township Municipal Complex at 2400 Byberry Rd.

The rain date will be the following day, Sunday, Oct.8, 2023.
Meanwhile, the township has announced what residents are prohibited from bringing into the festival.
The list includes pets, skateboarders, scooters, bikes, and outside alcohol. There is also no smoking on festival grounds.
The festival will feature:
- Free fun family entertainment
- Free evening concert
- Free fireworks
- Food Trucks and Beer Garden
The entertainment includes a petting zoo, pony rides, little circus, DJ, magic show, Cool Beans Band, bounce houses, police motor patrol show, police K-9 demonstration, roaming stilt walker, roaming hula hoop artist, interactive balance beam, public safety apparatus, free evening concert with Bachelor Boys Band playing hits from the 60s, 70s and beyond and fireworks with a “Magic of the Movies” theme.
Meanwhile, township officials are alerting residents about a scam involving the festival.
The township said it's been made aware of a scammer trying to claim that there are vendor spots available for the Family Fall Festival.
Township officials said the person is privately messaging individuals who have been looking for information regarding vendor availability and asking them to send money to reserve a spot.
Township officials warn that the request is a scam.
"We are not accepting vendors for this event," township officials said. "Should you receive a message from this individual, please report them immediately."
