Free Pet Adoption Day Hopes To Find Purr-Fect Homes
The Women's Animal Center in Bensalem Township will hold its annual free pet adoption event on Nov. 5.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —"Adopt a Pet, Save a Life."
That's the motto behind The Women’s Animal Center's DOLLS for PAWS annual free pet adoption event on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Richlieu Road shelter in Bensalem Township.
The event is sponsored by Doll 10 Beauty, a Yardley-based internationally-selling, cruelty-free cosmetics company.

The 'Dolls for Paws' Adoption Event will also feature coloring activities for the little dolls and dudes and refreshments. Plus, meet Dr. Doris Dalton, founder of Doll 10 Beauty.
But giving a pet a home is what the event is all about, organizers said.

"Come meet some of our adorable adoptable shelter pets like: Hemmie, Benjamin, Smokey and Luna," the shelter said in a Facebook post.
The event also features free family activities for the little dolls and dudes, food and refreshments. Plus, meet Dr. Doris Dalton, founder of Doll 10 Beauty.
All pet adoption fees will be covered by Doll 10 Beauty. Adoptions also include spaying or neutering, vaccinations, microchip, flea/tick treatment, free and discounted veterinary services and adoption gift bags.
Printable versions of the adoption application are available on the shelter's website for download. Applications will also be made available at the adoption event.
