Garage Fire Under Investigation In Bensalem

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A garage fire Sunday afternoon on Garland Avenue is under investigation.

The Nottingham Fire Department said that its chief and Ladder 65 responded Sunday afternoon along with the Newport Fire Company to the 4600 block of Garland Avenue for a reported garage fire.

Fire crews arrived and reported smoke showing from a detached garage in the rear yard of a residence.

Crews from Squrt 44 and Ladder 65 advanced a hose line into the shed and found a fire in the interior of the garage. Crews from Tower 16 and Engine 11 stood on location.

Bensalem Fire Rescue is conducting an investigation.

There were no injuries reported in the garage fire.
