Gibson Road Closing Weekdays For Utility Work
PennDOT said motorists should avoid the area and seek alternate routes over the next week. Find out the detours below.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Gibson Road will be closed on weekdays for more than a week under a Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority Utility improvement project.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority is performing utility construction.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

- Monday, March 4, through Friday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Gibson Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Bensalem Boulevard and Route 513 (Hulmeville Road).
During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Bensalem Boulevard and Route 513 (Hulmeville Road).
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
All work is weather-dependent.
Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority will complete this improvement project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
