Gibson Road Pipe Replacement Wraps Up Friday in Bensalem Township
Closure is between Route 513 (Hulmeville Road) and Bensalem Boulevard. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, PennDOT says.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A section of Gibson Road will get some pipes replaced starting Thursday, PennDOT has announced.
The Gibson Road closure is between Route 513 (Hulmeville Road) and Bensalem Boulevard in Bensalem Township.
Work starts Thursday and is expected to be completed Friday, PennDOT stated in a press release. The closure takes place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for the pipe replacement.

The work had been delayed for a week.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Bensalem Boulevard and Route 513 (Hulmeville Road). Local access will be maintained during the operation.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays may occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
