Bucks County students entering 2nd through 6th grades are invited to GSK Science in the Summer.
Bucks County students entering second through sixth grades are invited to register and attend GSK Science in the Summer, a free enrichment program celebrating 30 years of bringing fun, hands-on science learning to more than 150,000 elementary students.
Sponsored by GSK and administered by The Franklin Institute in partnership with local libraries, GSK Science in the Summer™ courses are taught by certified teachers with exciting experiments that introduce core scientific principles to students at a young age while exposing them to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) learning.
This summer, Bucks County elementary students will have the opportunity to take a course in Chemistry. Students will observe physical and chemical changes with fun experiments, like instantly freezing objects using dry ice. They’ll also discover how diapers hold a lot of liquid, create secret messages using iodine and lemon juice, and learn about chemical reactions by making gloop.
