Gun-Toting Suspect Took Ride Share To Rob Bensalem 7-Eleven: Police
Victor Lanar Gibbs III, 19, was charged by Bensalem Township police with robbery of the Street Road store early Sunday morning.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A suspect who pointed a gun at 7-Eleven employees during a recent robbery was caught Thursday by police who tracked him taking a ride share to the convenience store.
Victor Lanar Gibbs III, 19, of Bensalem, was charged with robbery and related offenses. He was arraigned by District Justice Joseph Falcone, and sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $750,000 bail.
Police arrested Gibbs at 1 p.m. Thursday at his home.

At 7:20 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, police responded to the report of a gunpoint robbery at the 7-Eleven on Street Road at Knights Road.
The suspect put a gun to the store clerk's head and stole cash and cell phones. He then exited the store and fled on foot. Police conducted a search of the area at that time but could not find Gibbs.

Detectives began an investigation into the possible identity of the suspect, whose face was completely covered at the time of the robbery.
Police were able to determine that the suspect arrived at the 7-Eleven via a ride-share vehicle.
Utilizing various forms of technology, detectives were able to identify the robbery suspect as Gibbs.
