Hotel Theft, Briefcase Taken: Bensalem Crimes

Bensalem Police are investing three thefts that have taken place over the past week.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Bensalem Police are investigating several thefts over the past week.

On Wednesday, Bensalem Police said a theft occurred at Extended Stay America, located at 3216 Tillman Dr.

It was reported that at 3:45 a.m., an unknown black man entered the hotel's office and stole cash and credit cards from an employee's purse. He fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Bensalem Police are also investigating a theft that occurred at the Taqwa Food Mart, located at 979 Bristol Pike, on Sept. 1.

It was reported that an unknown black man entered the store and stole an employee's briefcase that was behind the counter. The man then fled the area in an unknown direction.

Meanwhile, police are also investigating a retail theft that occurred at CVS at 2250 Bristol Rd on Sept. 1.

It was reported around noon that two known Hispanic women entered the store and selected several cosmetic items and decorations valuing $400. The women then fled the area in a black sedan without paying for the merchandise.
