I-95 Reopens Near Bensalem After 'Serious' Crash

The road was shut down in the northbound direction for hours Friday morning after a serious accident.

BENSALEM, PA — A serious accident on I-95 in Bucks County left the road shut down for several hours on Friday morning, authorities said.

The incident occurred at around 6:20 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the road in Bensalem Township.

The road reopened later Friday morning.

Police said there were injuries but did not elaborate as to the conditions of the victims or the number of victims.

Traffic was detoured to Woodhaven Road and back to Street Road.
