I-95, U.S. 1 Lanes In Bucks To Close For Gas-Line Work

BENSALEM, PA — There will be overnight lane closures on Interstate 95 and U.S. 1 in the Bensalem area this week as Philadelphia Gas Works does pipe inspections.

The moving closures, in Philadelphia and Bensalem, will be on Tuesday, Sept. 17, and Wednesday, Sept. 18, from 10 p.m.-4 a.m., according to PennDOT.

The work locations are:

• Northbound and southbound I-95 between the Rt/ 63 (Woodhaven Road) and Bleigh Avenue interchanges in Philadelphia and Bensalem
• Northbound and southbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) between St. Vincent Street and Bleigh Avenue in Philadelphia
• Northbound and southbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard Expressway) between Ridge Avenue and Wissahickon Avenue interchanges in Philadelphia
• Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) between Academy Road and U.S. 13 (Frankford Avenue) in Philadelphia and Bensalem

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
