Lane Closures For Barrier Installations Starting In Bensalem Township

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Lane closures will take place over the next two weeks for township motorists traveling along sections of Routes 95 and 76.

Starting Tuesday night, PennDOT will install temporary barriers on the ramp where the two highways merge.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

• Tuesday, Jan. 31, through Tuesday, Feb. 14, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a left lane closure will be in place weeknights on southbound I-95 between the Woodhaven Road (Route 63) Interchange and the Philadelphia County line in Bensalem Township.
• Wednesday, Feb. 1, through Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a left or right lane closure will be in place weeknights on southbound I-95 between the Street Road (Route 132) and Woodhaven Road (Route 63) interchanges in Bensalem Township.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
