Since 1966, Livengrin has been a nonprofit provider of treatment and recovery from substance abuse in the Philadelphia region. Its scope encompasses residential rehab, medical detox, dual-diagnosis, DUI, outpatient and family programs, and specialized tracks for physicians, nurses, police and firefighters with dependency problems.
Based along Hulmeville Road, Livengrin’s network brings hope for recovery to many Pennsylvania and New Jersey communities through its satellite offices in Levittown, Doylestown, Fort Washington, Northeast Philadelphia, Haverford and Allentown/Lehigh.
More than 100,000 people have begun their path to recovery at Livengrin, according to a company press release.
Livengren is wrapping up a $2.5 million, 18,000-square-foot expansion project at its 41-acre Bensalem campus which will move clients out of two dormitory wings into three new suburban-styles houses. Spokesman Keith Mason indicated this week that officials are still hopeful of a summer grand opening.
The anniversary gala will run from 5:30 pm to 9 pm. The Wanamaker Building is located at Juniper and Market Sts.
