The Bucks County District Attorney's Office will work with prosecutors from New Jersey to determine if Upshur will be extradited to Pennsylvania, authorities said.

A family member told the Pennsylvania State Police at the Trevose Barracks that the couple had been fighting recently and overheard an argument between them on a phone call.

A frantic search of hotel rooms by authorities eventually led to Coon's body being discovered at The Sleep Inn.

Upshur later headed to Trenton where police received 911 calls of gunshots where Upshur went into a home, where more shots were heard. The Mercer County Tactical Response Team entered the home and took Upshur into custody, later finding the gun believed to be used in Coon's death.

Bensalem Detectives and Detectives from the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the homicide.
