Man Dies Of Self-Inflicted Gunshot In Bensalem: Police
The man died at the hospital after shooting himself in his pickup truck on Bristol Pike Monday, police said.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A man shot and killed himself in his pickup truck on Bristol Pike Monday afternoon, police said.
The 50-year-old man was found shot in the neck and "bleeding badly" in his pickup truck on the 3400 block of Bristol Pike, Fox 29 reported. He was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital.
"It was a self-inflicted gunshot," Sgt. Glenn Vandegrift told Patch Tuesday morning. "The victim died at the hospital."

Police are not releasing the name of the victim.
Members of the Bensalem Proud Facebook page posted that they saw eight police cars and an ambulance rush to the scene.

There were reports of crime tape around two houses and police were taking evidence out of the pickup truck, the posts read.
