Man Charged After Trying To Sell Handgun In Bensalem: Police
Bensalem Police found a 9mm gun, cocaine, and cash on the Philadelphia man. A search of his home found more guns and a rifle.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A Philadelphia man faces weapons and drug charges after he came to the township to sell a 9mm handgun and cocaine to someone known by police.
The Bensalem Township Police Department —along with Bucks County Detectives and the Philadelphia Police Department FBI Task Force —arrested Ishmael Isaac Colon, 34, of Philadelphia Tuesday.
Colon was charged with persons not to possess a firearm, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and related charges.

Upon arriving at the Bensalem location, officers took him into custody without incident.
Police found a Springfield Hellcat 9mm handgun, a small amount of cocaine, and $1,600 in cash.

Colon is prohibited to be in possession of a firearm by law.
During a search of his Philadelphia home, police recovered four more handguns and an AR-style rifle.
Colon was arraigned by District Justice Frank Peranteau and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10 percent of $100,000 bail.
