Man Found With Ghost Gun In Bensalem Retail Theft: PD

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — A Philadelphia man is in custody for using a ghost gun in the retail theft at the Wawa on the Lincoln Highway on Sunday, police said

Bensalem Police responded at 3:57 a.m. on Sunday for the report of a retail theft at the Wawa on 2250 Lincoln Highway.

Police identified Dominic Knox, 22, of Philadelphia, at the bus stop in front of the store and took him into custody.

During a search, police officers recovered marijuana and a black Glock 17 9mm handgun equipped with a device commonly known as an automatic switch and a tan extended magazine.

Knox, who is currently on probation for a previous firearm charge in Philadelphia, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Terrance Hughes Sr.

His bail was set at 10 percent of $250,000, and Knox was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
