Man Pointed Gun At Couple Outside ShopRite In Bensalem: Police
Bensalem Police are seeking a man who fled the Bristol Road store parking lot after an argument with the couple on Monday.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Bensalem Police are investigating an incident earlier this week in which a man pulled a gun on a couple outside the ShopRite following an argument.
The Bensalem Township Police Department responded at 8:45 p.m. Monday to the ShopRite at 2200 Bristol Rd. for the report of an armed suspect.
A woman told police that she was exiting the ShopRite when a light-skinned Hispanic man with braids commented to her under his breath and both began to argue with each other, police said.

When the woman's husband tried to intervene, the man pulled a firearm from his fanny pack and pointed it at the couple, police said.
Police said he then commented on them about being in jail before.

The man then lowered the gun and got into the passenger side of a blue Mazda driven by a black woman. The vehicle then left the area, police said.
Bensalem Police are actively investigating the incident and will provide more information if and when a suspect is identified and arrested, Sgt. Glenn Vandegrift said.
