Mayor Moves Maple On Earth Day In Bensalem
Bensalem Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo helped the Parks and Recreation Department relocate a Japanese Maple tree on Monday.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo's family has a farming history.
So there was the longtime mayor on Earth Day Monday morning moving a beautiful Japanese Maple.
He was helping the Parks and Recreation Department relocate the tree onto township property.

"You can take the man from farming, but you can't take farming out of the man," the township said in a Facebook post.
