Meet Shadow: Lower Bucks Co. Shelter Pet Of The Week

Editor's Note: This is a weekly series featuring pets up for adoption from the Women's Animal Center in Bensalem Township.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Meet Shadow.

Shadow is a sweet 6-year-old male Retriever mix.

His adorable brown eyes and big smile could melt anyone’s heart. We have learned that being in a shelter setting has been hard for him due to anxiety, so he shows his real goofy and loving self when relaxed with our staff and volunteers outside or lounging on his favorite bed.

If you are looking for a gentle couch potato, he is your guy!

Shadow enjoys being around people and would benefit from being in a home with a family that would give him plenty of time and helps him adjust to his new setting.

He’s open to meeting resident pets and children. Shadow has also been working with our staff on his basic manners and is eager to learn more!
