Everyone needs a little help from their friends now and then. When you are making changes that affect your health and lifestyle it can be confusing, difficult, even SCARY!!! By hiring me as your Health Coach I can help guide you through your personal program to success.
My personal journey from morbidly obese to a healthier and much happier life style has ignited a passion within me that I want to share with each of my clients. Many people believe living a healthier life style means deprivation and tasteless foods. Let me impart my personal discoveries and educational training to show you that this is simply not true. Your program will be completely personal and unique to you. Together we will incorporate what is most important to you and work toward meeting your personal goals.
Additionally I am a voracious information seeker and will constantly be staying abreast of current nutritional information and trends so that you will reap the benefits easily.
I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.

My approach is not to dwell on calories, carbs, fats, and proteins. It is not to create lists of restrictions or good and bad foods. Instead, I work with my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and rewarding.

The S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Get Healthy and Drop a Few Program includes:
- Initial 60 minute private consultation
- Group sessions – 2 per month (approx. 90 minutes)
- Individual health coaching session – 1 per month (approx. 60 minutes)
- Support between sessions via email, text or Facebook Group postings
- Shopping tips
- Recipes that are healthy and simple to prepare
- Easy cooking techniques
- Time management techniques
- Simple but informative handouts
- Select gifts to help your journey to health and wellness
- One week free martial arts classes, if so desired
- Friendships and bonds with "like" minded individuals

Requirements:
- A minimum of a 3 month commitment.
- Must be motivated to live a healthier life style.
- Commit to the pre-scheduled meeting dates. Attendance can be done remotely through Facetime or Google Hangouts. Missed sessions will still be charged.
- The lifestyle changes provided are SUGGESTIONS. It is up to you to run with them. They are not mandatory but when incorporated into your life will help you succeed.
- Keep a daily food log on MyFitnessPal.com. Your diary must be public for all members to see what you are eating and how you are exercising.
