New Hubs For Human Services In Lower Bucks

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —The Bucks County Human Services Hub is setting up shop in Lower Bucks.

The agency announced expansion plans to provide better assistance to people and families in need of critical social services.

Hub resource navigators will now be on site every Tuesday at offices in Trevose and Bristol Township. Resource navigators had only worked out of the Hub’s Doylestown office other than appointments or special events.

Hours and locations are:

• 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. – PA CareerLink Bucks County 4800 E. Street Road #50 Trevose, PA 19053
• 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. – Martha Miller No Longer Bound Community Center 5616 Mitchell Road Bristol Township, PA 19057

Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are encouraged, the agency said in a press release.

The Hub serves as an entry point to the wide web of social services. Resource navigators link Bucks County residents to the services of government departments, like the Area Agency on Aging, the Drug and Alcohol Commission or Veterans Affairs, and to local non-profits like the YWCA or the Bucks County Opportunity Council.

The Doylestown office is located on the first floor of the Bucks County Administration Building, 55 E. Court St. The office is open to calls and walk-ins from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
