Open House Set On Bristol Road Construction
A center lane will be added to Bristol Road, along with other improvements and new traffic signals, PennDOT officials say.

BENSALEM, PA — Members of the public curious about the upcoming roadwork being done on Bristol Road are invited to attend an open house in Bensalem.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will hold an open house public plans display on Wednesday, Dec 12, at 6:30 p.m. at the Bensalem Township Municipal Building. The municipal building is at 2400 Byberry Rd. in Bensalem.
The upcoming project is designed to improve travel safety on Bristol Road between Old Lincoln Highway and Pasqualone Boulevard in Bensalem, transportation officials say.

Under the project, PennDOT plans to widen and reconfigure Bristol Road and install new traffic signals. A center lane will be added on the road to ease traffic and assist drivers turning onto residential streets or into businesses along Bristol Road.
At the open house, officials will present progress plans and a status update on the project. Residents will have the chance to check out displays and discuss the project with its design team.

PennDOT plans to open bids on the project in 2020.
