Our Journey Together - day 1

Hi, and welcome to our blog. 
This October 13th I will be married 29 years to my husband Greg.  In 2001 at age 50 he was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.  I had heard of it because I am a fan of Michael J. Fox.  I prayed that the MRI and CAT SCAN he got would show something else.  The first month I cried everyday because I was angry, scared and overwhelmed.  I knew after reading this that we were facing something that we would not be able to control.  So after a month of this I finally looked myself in the mirror and said you better get a grip girl.  And I did.  Greg was very calm about it and he just did what the doctors told him to do.  LETS TALK AND WALK together with this topic.  Talk will help us walk through our experiences, feelings and truth.  I am also the mother of 26 year old with Autism, yes, I am dealing with that to, we all our.  I would love to hear from my community.
