Overturned Tractor-Trailer Shuts Down Street Road In Bensalem Township
The Bensalem Township Police Department reported the accident after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Motorists should stay away until further notice.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A tractor-trailer has overturned at the intersection of Street Road and Kingston Way, the Bensalem Township Police Department is reporting.
Bensalem Police, Fire and EMS are on the scene of the accident, which was reported just after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

An alert said there also could be a leak and it is considered a Hazmat incident.
Street Road is closed in both directions along with the Pennsylvania Turnpike exit for Street Road, authorities said.

Bensalem Fire Rescue posted on Facebook that the incident is under control.
Police are asking motorists and residents to comply with officers and firefighters if they ask for people and vehicles to leave the area for safety.
Police also say it is best to avoid the area until the situation is under control.
Street Road at Kingston Way between Street Rd at Route 1 North will but shut down until further notice, police said.
Action News had a chopper over the sceneshowing the overturned tractor-trailer.
