PA Turnpike Bridge Construction To Close Key Road
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will close a Lower Bucks road for two weeks next month. Find out where and when below.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Bridge construction on the Pennsylvania Turnpike will close a key road for two weeks next month, PennDOT said.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is planning bridge construction on Newportville Road in Bristol and Bensalem townships.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

- Monday, Oct. 14, through Saturday, Oct. 26, Newportville Road will be closed and detoured 24/7 between Zimmerman Lane and New Falls Road. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Zimmerman Lane and New Falls Road.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
